Kerry Urquhart is the founder of Help A squaddie in 2015, She never thought it would grow to extent it did. Her inspiration for starting the charity was a very special person in her life who is sadly no longer with us, this is the experience in her own words. "9 years ago my beautiful Aunt lost her battle with cancer. Up until her last days she did everything for others and never put herself first. Before Help A Squaddie I just thought of my own happiness and never really thought about helping the less fortunate. Luckily she changed that and Help A Squaddie was born. It was meant to be a 1 off project to house 1 veteran. Here we are now helping 100s every year."

Adele has been part of Help A Squaddie since 2016 and has helped numerous people.
