Help A Squaddie’s main goal when formed was to help rehouse Homeless Ex Service Personnel. We soon realised that Homelessness could be prevented if symptoms and issues were addressed much sooner. We therefore changed our Main Objectives into helping struggling Veterans get the help when and where they need it. Working with other Agencies and Organisations enables us to get direct and fast acting help to struggling Ex Military Personnel in need. We also provide help and assistance with Housing and Employment.

We currently only cover the Staffordshire and South Derbyshire Area.

The Association of ex-Service Drop-In Centres (ASDIC) links veterans’ Drop-Ins together across the country. Drop-Ins offer a variety of welfare and mental health support to the ex-military community and their families, and ASDIC helps them to enhance the service they can provide and make them more accessible. It also helps organisations supporting the Drop-Ins to deliver their services more effectively and make the most of their resources. The main purpose of this website is to provide a directory of ASDIC Drop-Ins so that Veterans and their families can decide the best Drop-In to visit Drop-Ins and the organisations that support them can see where they all are and what they do, so that they can work together and give the best possible service to those who need their help.
